Treadmill Exercise Help

Hi Everyone I'm New Here And I'm Sure I Should Have Come And Asked For Help A Long Time Ago But I'm Hoping That Is Not To Late Now
My Problem Is That I Had Some Health Problems And Started Getting Fat And For Some Reason Every Diet Plan Or Exercise Plan I Started I Stopped After One Week Or So And Now 3 Years Later I'm About 60 Pounds Heavier Than Before I Have A Treadmill Which I Use Sometimes I Guess Not To Often But I Noticed That I'm Not Getting Any Lighter And Thank God Not Any Heavier Either But I Guess I'm Doing It Wrong I Need To Know When Is The Best Time To Exercise On The Treadmill Before Or After I Eat And My Problem Is That I Only Can Exercise After PM Since My Job Keeps Me Busy And For How Long Would It Be Enough
Sorry It's So Long But I Really Need To Do Something My Pants Size 12 Is Kind A To Small Around My Waist Oh I Forgot To Mention That That Is My Main Problem Area My Waist And Butt

Welcome here! I don't know a lot about the exercise part of it, but I've heard from various sources that 15-20 minutes is a good start. But you need to get your heart rate up and start sweating, otherwise you're not doing your body much good! I've heard different things about the time of day you exercise, and they all contradict each other. But I would say that any time of day is better than not doing it at all, right?
