AOk so this is going to be my new weight loss diary I hope mod's don't get mad I made 2. other one will drown out
Ok so this has been a rough week. I am down 15 pounds total from about 7 weeks ago now which is great. I got my treadmill stuff going I did weights 3 1/2 times this week and cardio 1 1/2 times.
My original goal was to be doing cardio, weights, cardio weights, cardo 5 out of 7 days with 2 days of rest. I ended up doing more weights just for the fact I really didn't want to do cardio. I feel way better in terms of mental state after weights (from the little I have done) then doing a treadmill for an hour bored out of my mind. I may end up returning it, I started jogging a little bit on it 1-2 min the rest and its squeaking again, I've tightened it as much as I can. What is going to happen when the warranty is out and I have to pay 100's to fix. No thanks. Still not set in stone because where I live its winter 2/3 of the year or the weather is just not good to be outside. I am not very social so I am not real big on going to the gym. I may keep it or find an alternative cardio source, biking in summer perhaps and snowboarding again(haven't in a few years and I would love to be able to do it again) seems like a potential plan.
But yeah this past week I haven't really seen much improvement on the scale and it was getting me down.. Looked at the monthly challenge on the forums here and I realized at the beginning of the month I was 255 and right now I am around 248-250 so I am still improving and that needs to be always in my mind if this is going to keep on going.
I just feel like the weights give me a better workout and I am wondering if I should be focusing more on that. How much cardio do I really need to do. I still want to do cardio don't get me wrong but I feel that my mindset right now is going to be towards weight training and muscle gain..
Anyways my first full week of weights/cardio mix is done and I want this to be my new starting point.. I have week 1 photographs of myself and I am going to be waiting another month before I do more photo's. 3 month intervals I think will be a good start. I personally don't feel like the 15 pounds is much in terms of showing. but when you actually lift up 15 pounds its like hot damn. I can't believe I am carrying that + more weight on my body.
I am just very excited about the fact if I keep doing what I am doing, that next year around this time. I am gonna be in amazing shape. This is by far the hardest thing I have ever done not to mention all the other stresses in day to day life though I feel in my gut that this is the biggest hurdle in my life and I need to jump that hurdle and then I can worry about the one off in the distance which by then I might as well just rip it apart with my huge muscles
Also how many of you want to be able to say "have you seen the gun show" and then actually have guns to show off rofl!
