Training with anything but the floor

I want to get more fit and stronger and tone. i eat right so i dont have a high body fat %. but i want to work out at home. i have nothing but the floor, a bed and a chair. i do push ups and crunches but is there more i can do. i want to work my legs a lot to get my jump higher too.

LOL, What do you, live in a prison? Anyway, you ought to change the title to "Training with nothing but the floor"...it was kind of misleading. So, what can you do? Well, you can do leg lifts, hand stand push-ups, invisible chairs against a wall, hindu squats, suspended push-ups or different elevated push-ups, dips against your bed or chair, and a plethora of stretches.

Feel free to get some clarification if you need it, I'm gonna see what I can do bout finding you a link to some good stuff.

^for this one, click on the part of the body you want to exercise and try to find one that doesn't involve equipment.

Walk to your hardware store (), buy an appropriately weighted sledge hammer, and explore the extremely rewarding world of Shovelglove (). You may think this is a joke, but I'm not kidding. This is an excellent and highly practical set of exercises that you can do every day with nothing more than a sledge hammer. I guarantee that after your first 14 minute session with your shovelglove you'll feel what I'm talking about.

For your legs, I would recommend two exercises; pistol squats and burpees.

A pistol is a single-legged squat without a balancing aid-your non working leg is held straight out in front of you and you squat down until your butt touches your heel-or as close as you can get. Some people find it difficult to keep the non working leg held out straight, so you can do these at the top of a stairwell. These are a tough exercise.

A burpee is a squat thrust followed by a jump:

Do these in sets of 10-12 reps with 30 second rest intervals for an intense workout by itself.

I'd also second the recommendation by Azathoth to get a sledgehammer.I have an 18 pound hammer that I have used for 3 minute rounds of slamming against a tire.Your back, core and especially shoulders and forearms get a hell of a workout and my heart is beating like a drum afterward.Definitely consider this option.

Russians is another term for the people residing within the country of the Soviet Union.
ROFL lolol thats great... anways you want a workout?? Grab an axe, you should have one of those! and start hitting a tree you don't like. :p

Soviet Union? What year is it? Instead of an axe or sledge hammer you might want to flip the 15 bucks for a set of dumb bells. Unless you really need to chop firewood or smash cinder blocks...

or if you have the funds, get a decent flat/incline adjustable bench (try garage sales), and a few different dumbbells, or adjustable dumbbells....or a set of PowerBlocks.

nothing compares to true resistance training and the benefits from it.
