Training For Race?

Track and field in my school has started, and our competition is in a little over a month. I signed up for 800m, and 1500m. I am extremely out of shape as i have not played sports for a couple months. I need a workout plan that will get me in shape to do these races, quickly! If you have meal plans also, I'd follow them.
I am EXTREMELY desperate, and I NEEEEEED workout plans and meal plans, PLEASE!!!!!!!

To be honest, less than a month is not enough time to train for performance, but you can still get into better shape. Since you're training for running events, I'd recommend moderate running distances 2-3 days per week. (Non-consecutive days.)

I'm not going to create an entire diet plan for you, as you should really establish one yourself based off of your current eating habits, but you need to have a good balance of carbohydrates (energy), protein (muscle recovery), and unsaturated fats (energy AND recovery). Also stay away from junk food, processed foods, and added/refined sugar.

I'd suggest that you spend some time refining your technique, pace, and overall race plan with you coach too. Especially for the 800m, as it is actually quite a difficult race to run.

what do u mean by totally out of shape?

If your track coacjh is letting you copmitt to the 800 you are not totally out of shape.

I think you are full of bolgne.

otherwise jram is totally on!

how much do you weight, age, an all that......

If you want us to help you hit the next level, you have3 tio be honest about where you are at.

Make sense?

Well, I'm sure I'm not completely out of shape, but I'm not in the best shape! I'm 5 foot 8 inch, 125 pounds. I used to play a lot of sports, but stopped recently to focus on graduating. I was always in good shape, but not anymore.

There is nothing to worry about that. All i want to suggest you to follow a scheduled routine for yourself. Always keep it mind that practice makes a man perfect. If you are out of shape now then work hard to get the shape as early as possible. It would not be too hard as you think. When i started exercise i was a fat guy. I did wonder whether it was possible for me to continue or not. But i worked really hard. More importantly i never give up. Try to run at least one hour in each of every day. Within very short period of time you would used to.

Eat lots of vegetable and water. Try to avoid food having fat. It would make your body easy to move. Just follow this and see the result.
