trading pizza with healthier but more calories?

I've decided to cut back on pizza. I've started eating 2 slices daily since who knows when and so far my weight is stable. However, these past few days I've found myself more full than when I ate those 2 pizza slices. I think I'm tricking myself that because I'm eating "healthier" food now (e.g. rice, pasta, soup, vegetables, and the like) I can have more portions. Should I continue eating like this or should I just go back to pizza? Which is more beneficial?

Sorry, once I reread what I have written, I realized it wasn't making too much sense. :p

So, to clear things up:
- old habit: eating 2 slices of pizza plus a banana, not feeling quite full
- new habit: eating 3 full bowls of pasta, vegetables, soup, etc, plus a banana, feeling full

I heard pizzas are the healthiest fast food and am wondering if it's true. I usually have veggie or just cheesy ones. On the other hand, I heard just recently that they are still considered "fatty" food (a reason I decided to cut back on them). So now I'm wondering if eating pizza is good for me in the long run.

While I have a stable weight when I consumed pizzas daily, my goal is to lose weight, though, so that's not working. :p I don't even work out, just walk every now and then.

oh ok, well I know from losing weight that pizza isnt going to help you at all. I wouldnt really consider to be healthy, if you want to eat healthy fast food, then check out the companies websites they list the calories, fat and carbs usually on those. The pizza you would have to guess since everyone makes their different but you would get a better idea and then make a choice based on that to help you lose weight.

Pizza isn't bad in moderation. I can lose weight eating a slice of pizza for dinner occasionally. I always dab of the grease though - it just seems so gross!
Anyway, I think you need to look at calories in and calories out, and maybe find a good balance. If you can lose weight and still eat like 3 bowls of food and such, you're damn lucky, LOL.
Perhaps splurge on pizza occasionally, but eat healthier for the rest of the week?

pizza may be a bit high in grease, but in moderation, it really ain't that bad. I good pizza can all the major food groups in it :D

reminds me a little of when someone once told me, that a Big Mac from McD's is good for you because it has all the major food groups in it. hahaha

But I have to say that there are Pizzas out there that fall within the range of being healthier. It's usually the thin crust ones with chicken or tuna.
