Too much caffeine for weight loss?

I'm wondering about caffeine and fat lock. Am I drinking too much caffeine?

Ihave two or three cups of coffee in the morning, then, I don't drink water, but I make unsweetened ice tea.

Each jug has the equivalent of one black tea bag, one green tea bag and a half a pot of green tea made from leaves, so a fair amount of green tea.

Its just a nicer drink for me than plain water.

I drink two jugs of this a day.

Too much caffeine for weight loss? It doesn't affect my sleep the way an evening coffee would.

No, that's not too much caffeine. Coffee is good for you, by the way -- full of antioxidants. That doesn't mean you should have 12 cups a day, but 2 to 6 cups a day is just fine.

As for the diuretic effect of coffee, that is WAY overblown. In fact, they have found that for regular coffee drinkers, it has a very minor diuretic effect -- nothing to worry about, that's for sure.

caffeine is a diuretic so it shouldn't effect weight loss, most diet pills have caffeine in them, so it shouldn't make you hold onto weight. though switching to decaf iced tea probably wouldn't kill you :D
