too many nuts at once?

the meal where I get most of my fats from is meal 2 at about 10:40am by eating almonds. I eat 1/4 of a bag which is 397 cals and constitutes to a good handful. Now I was told by somebody that you should only eat a small handful, is this right or should I keep doing what I'm doing?

Yeah, that's right as a general rule. What I like to do is keep a bag around the house, and if I get snackish I grab a few and muncho on em. But your right, you don't won't to eat too many. Also good are sundflower seeds and peanuts.

here's my daily intake:

total cals - 2219
total protein - 180g
total carbs - 317g
total fat - 75g
total fibre - 41g

say I haved the amount of nuts I eat to one serving (200 cals), that would put my cals down to 2019, protein down to 170g, and my fats down to 48g. is this better?
(it would change the others too but not very much)

I think it's too hard to single-out one food item. If you're eating clean and making progress, then why change anything?

it's too early to see if I've been making progress or not, and I've slacked on my diet and HIIT over Easter. I just want to make sure I'm doing everything properly so that I can hope to see results sooner rather than later, and I'm starting a weights program sometime next week.

one serving of walnuts is 30 grams, well at least the ones i eat are. that is a very small amount compared to being able to gobble these things down if i wanted to.

and those 30 grams equal 20 grams of good fat. :)

dam, i eat like upwards around 100g of fat a day, 150-250g of protein, and about 200-400g of carbs.
As long as the fats are coming from good sources (NOT saturated and trans - which I know you're not eating), and you're staying within your calorie-limit, then that's just fine.
