Toning

Does anybody know a goods technique for toning? Because I can get the muscle mass I need, but I don't know how to tone the muscles, or get good definition. Which is the main reason why I'm thinking about buyiong a home gym.

Don't succumb to the toning myth...that is, higher reps and low weight 'tones' the muscle into shape.

Look at tone as 'having definition'.. What you need for good definition is good muscle mass (from low/moderate rep ranges, and heavy weight), and a low body fat. Lifting heavy builds dense mass, and that yields stronger muscle separation. When you cut and lose the extra body fat, you'll see the muscles and the sepration, and will then look 'toned'.
