G'day Boys and Girls,
I'm new as a member but I've been hanging around for a while. I've been searching for the answer to my question but without luck so I thought I'd just ask hey.
I'm in a situation where I want to tone and therefore I need to loose BF. I don't however want to loose weight. So my questions is if it's possible to loose BF at the same time as you gain mussle mass to get a "toning" result?
My aim is not to grow big. I want to be slim but muscly, but not too muscly.
I do cardio 3 times a week with a mix of endurance and HIIT. Abs are done on cardio days. Weights 2 times per week with Back and Biceps on one day and Chest and Tricep on the other day. My formula is high rep/sets with a mix of heavier low rep/sets. I also fit in two 20 minute programmes on my lunch break per week which consists of yoga influenced moves where my body is used to build strength.
In a way I want to maintain and grow/tone at the same time. Is there anyway that make sense?
Food consists of lots of vegetables/salads, fish/chicken, whole meal pasta/sweet potato etc, shakes/fruit, nuts. Plenty of water every day!
Am I out on thin ice here or is there hope? And most of all, is it clear what the hell I'm actually talking about?
Thanks for you input!
Cheers
