Toning my chest and abs

I've been playing a lot of soccer and baseball outside, getting my heartrate up, but I really want to tone my upper body and abs. My legs are strong, my calves look good, it's mainly just my upper body that needs a lot of work. I've been doing some stuff in my room at night but I also worry if I'm doing too much. Lately I've just been doing pushups, pushups with feet raised, crunches, side to side crunches with alternating extending legs, and wall sits. I've just been doing it once a day until failure and I've really been feeling it all day, I'm just not sure if I should maybe take days off.

I have a medicine ball with a handle on it that I've been using to do some lifting, but I'm not really sure what exercises I should do. Any help is appreciated, I really want to be confident with my shirt off.
