Toning belts & pads

Hello everyone. I can't exercise due to ill health but I still want to lose weight through proper diet.

The question I have is, has anyone tried one of these electronic toning belts or pads that send electrical signals to your muscles? I was wondering if they are actually of any use or if they're just a con? Thing is, as I can't exercise I'll probably lose muscle more than fat and I was wondering if these belts would work to stimulate my muscles at all?

(I am not under any illusion that they will make certain body parts thinner but perhaps they might tone them a bit? reduce the wobble factor? :D)

Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks :D

Electrical Stimulation has some pretty interesting and effective uses in physical therapy, but Im afraid if youve already purchased for the purpose you seek, youve been had. Hopefully you havent purchased any of the stim products, and you can save your money.

I have a question for you though. Why are you unable to exercise? I'd like to ask that first before I jump to any conclusions, but for the most part, there isnt much out there that could make you completely unable to exercise permanently and not be a heck of a lot more important than worrying about your weight. Perhaps we can find ways for you to exercise that you may not have yet considered...

Anyways, you can accomplish quite a bit just from maintaining a calorie deficit with nutrition. I think people tend to be quite a bit more successful in the long run when they focus on that aspect first anyways.
