tone exercises?

I need advice!!!
I want to be healthy and fit! I'm not fat, but I want to tone up my bum and legs. I've been going to the gym two times a week for a month and nothing seems to be happening. I would like to go the gym more, but someone told me if you go two days in a row, the second day doesnt do anything!
I really want to tone up but whats the easiest solution that actually works!!! Is it possible to tone up in 1 month, as I go on holiday the beginning of June.

Whenever I go to try and run, I get a stitch after 2 minutes! ANy solutions to stop this???

Also even though i'm a size 8, I still have a little bit of cellulite, Has anyone got any advice how to get rid of this or foods that cause this (so i know what to cut out)!
Thanks for reading this, if you have any solutions i will be very greatful
x:D

You need to go to the gym more often if that's what your looking into doing...burning the fat in order to get rid of cellulite, it's fat. If you do alot of squats, lunges etc...often. You'd be surprised at how much you can accomplish in a short time.... Do cardio daily and maybe weights, toning every second day...

I'm not saying your fat...skinny people have cellulite also...but if you lose some inches and go go go...you'll lose it or at least diminish the look of it.

Thanks for the advice!
What exactly is cardio, When I go to the gym, I do things like running machine, step machine, rowing, etc! Is that what cardio is???
What equipment or exercise tones up bum and legs???

For this I would recommend a competent personal trainer.

This depends on what muscles you are working, the intensity of the workout, and the type of exercise (e.g. weights today, aerobic tomorrow)

Obviously it depends on the individual and what your starting point is (weight, body composition, nutrition) in terms of how quickly you can change your body composition. I am skeptical that for you it could be accomplished in a month but I do not know you, your goals, lifestyle, or training habits. As far as the best way to tone up, #1 eliminate the T word from your vocabulary. Training with weights will build muscle, so you'll need to train all of the major muscle groups in the body (chest, back, legs [thighs, hamstrings, glutes], shoulders), change your nutritional lifestyle [search for previous posts on the 7 habits of nutritonal programs], and simply become more active.

See the above changes that may need to be made with regards to weight training, lifestyle, and nutrition. I do not believe there are any foods that cause cellulite. I also believe that cellulite is a term just made up to describe the dimply appearance on the skin. It is adipose tissue or fat, plain and simple and it is no different that any other stored fat near the surface of the body (lying under the skin).

Your on the right track...yes, that is cardio. Cardio is Cardiovascular excercise or activity that raises your heart rate to a level...it makes your heart strong it increases your lung capacity. You can use alot of equipment for your butt...I love just getting dumbbells and doing lunges, or leg lift machines etc..I can really feel it, stretch before hand though....if you just do this more regularly you'll see the change. Good luck!
