I did not post over the weekend. It was super busy with very kittle personal time.
The weekends are difficult to stick to a rigid diet. There are so many temptations, changes from daily routines and socialization.
My husband's birthday was on Feb 3, which was a Tuesday, so Saturday night was a birthday dinner and cake. The cake did not really tempt me, I think I made a decent choice for dinner (broiled cod and shrimp with broccoli). My biggest downfall was the beverages! I had a cold beer with dinner and after dinner a second while watching some TV with the family before bed.
Oh those liquid calories!!!
This week a commitment I would like to make is to limit beverages with calories. I will allow myself 2 a day....2 cups of coffee with creamer, or maybe 1 cup of coffee in the morning and 1 beer before bed.... I commit to only 2 a day.
Once I have conquered this challenge I will reduce my caloric beverages to one a day! My ultimate goal is vanquishing liquid calories all together!
The name of my post was "tomorrow is Tuesday" because I set a goal to be < 240 by Tuesday. Eeks! That snuck up fast! I am a bit nervous about it because I have been weighing myself daily and am not seeing the numbers go down. Whatever the fate may be, tomorrow is Tuesday.
