Today....

Today was my cheat meal of the week I had A ceaser salad with a piece of bread and charbrioiled barbucue chicken with french fries it was all low fat but the fries that was my cheat...i feel soo bad that i had them. But then on tuesday i had a pb & j but all low sugar and fat. Should i feel bad??? even though today was a cheat meal?
 
why would you feel bad... its your cheat well i would call it your reward meal, you work hard all week, you deserve it. im pretty sure every one on this forum has a reward meal.
 
nope it was reduced fat kind oh and hey today all i had to eat was
2 bowls of special k cereal it was that or egg whites so i picked the cereal
lunch i ate at TGI friday's and i had A ceaser salad, French Fries (today was my reward day) and barbacue charbgrilled chicken then later on for a snack i had an apple. now its like 9:45 at night, would it be okay to have fat free crackers as a snack, i mean im gonna be running a couple miles tonight on my gazelle. Should i eat the crackers or no??
 
Feel bad about that? no way, This week for a cheat meal i had the most greasiest pizza about 4 or 5 slices with peperoni ham and mushrooms and a little bag of kc masterpeace chips and i didnt gain even a half of a pound. Im not sure about the crackers but i do know that the crackers we have here in the house are pretty bad i read the labels but i dont think there fat free. When you dont know if somethings good or not just read the labels. If it says like 200 calories for 5 crackers you definatly dont want it just judge by what you have eatin today. Are you keeping a pad of paper with all of the food you've eatin today with the calories and all of that? Thats what you should do just write everything down then you know if you can have something else or not.
 
By the way for your cheat every week make sure its something that you have been craving, Cause once you have it you wont want it for a long time thats the way i was with the pizza.
 
i think it will be okay i think its 60 calories for every 5 crackers and 12g of carbs for every 5 and 0 fat....what do u think
 
for around 25 crackers its 300 calories, thats bad isnt it?? but isnt crackers in the bread good group or something Oh and also today is my reward or cheat day remember and the only cheat thingy i had was fries, and these crackers. okay?? also im gonna be running about in an hour

Im not sure about carbs before you go to bed someone else will probably know that, But i think your only supposed to have a cheat "meal" not a whole day of eating stuff you shouldn't :p
 
well im not sure that fries are a whole meal though?? i ate the whole pack of crackers freakin 468 calories im soo disappointed now i feel terribe im not gonna be going to bed that soon round 2:30 im gonna run soon too lol
 
It depends on what the other stuff you ate today had in it. Dont go by just trying to figure out if every little thing you eat is bad for you, Has someone here helped you figure out how many calories you need a day? You need to find out how many you should have a day and write down everything you eat. And dont eat anything that you dont know whats in it. Once you start writing down how many calories your eating you will be able to look at it and say well ive only had this many today so i can have this and that but just guessing is not good. Also if your going to eat stuff like that eat it early on in the day not at night.
 
Lets look at it this way, i wont be having them for a while because im not CRAVING them anymore. *im talking about the crackers and french fries* This week i'll eat healthy, For breakfast special k cereal fat free milk * i have no oatmeal* and maybe a plum, LUNCH a salad with fat free dressing and an apple, a snack an apple...Dinner for all week would either be fish or chicken or porkchops with veggies and i know one night im have stuffing (like stuffed porkchops) i have no idea if that is bad or not. But mostly fish and chicken are healthy with veggies and a potato maybe. What do you think?
 
Sounds good besides the stuffing. I looked at stove top stuffing the other day and they list the dry mix on the top of the label and make it seem like its all good for you and then when you look down lower on the label it lists what it has after its made so i sat that box back down real quick lol. Im not sure about pork, Ive never really heard anyone say they eat pork on here.
