Tired of not having any motivation

Hi! I am new here and found this forum when I was looking for ways to motivate myself into losing weight. I'm so tired of not being able to keep motivated to lose the weight. I need to lose at least 40-50 lbs to get to where I'm comfortable with myself. I'm happily married, and my husband isn't so excited about the gained weight and tries a little bit to motivate me to lose weight, but it's just not enough. I'll do fine for a few days, and then I tell myself excuses on how I can do it a better way, etc. :banghead: I feel that I have done very well as far as my eating habits go, I just need the the physical activity to go with it. I don't want to join a gym because to me, it seems a bit expensive, plus the cost of fuel to go (I live in the country). I do have a treadmill, but that gets boring after a while. Help!! And I look forward to making some new friends in all of this. :piggy:

Welcome to the forum. :)

You'll find that there are several sections in this forum dedicated to things such as motivation and exercises. I hope you find it useful.

Good luck on your weight-loss journey.

Good luck on your journey! The only way I can personally get myself up to exercise is incentive, I save all my spare change in a jar and when I reach a goal weight I get to cash it in and spend it on something I want! Once I get into the exercise I LOVE it but its starting thats the problem. I put up a baby gate into my kitchen so that I have to physically get over it to get to the snacks I want, It actually helps as a sort of mental block and tricks me into getting a tiny bit more exercise. stay focused, and you've come to the right place!

Rather than choosing so many exercises if you follow balance diet tip with 1 or 2 exercises and walk for a few minutes this may help you to lose weight diligently. Many people reach their target weight without starving, just through changes in their diet. Meet with people who have successfully lost weight through the right diet.
