So i started going back to the gym...so far its been two days, but I noticed that the next day Im exahusted!

I went two days ago and yesterday I was so tired that i got up late for work. THen yesterday I went again and this morning I was barely able to open my eyes! I was once again later and had to rush to get to work on time.

I thought working out would give me more energy but apparently it seems to be zapping it! Any ideas why this is happening? I work out at nite like from 9pm to 10pm. Right after I get home and go to sleep. I sleep at least 6 hrs so is not like Im not sleeping enough.

Im at work and my eyes are closing! this never happened before, what gives!?! :toetap05:

Could be anything really.

6 hours of sleep after a long day of work and a strenuous workout wouldn't be enough for me.

You could be doing too much.

You could be eating too little.

You could be doing too much on too little food, lol.

The list goes on.

It could also be that you are starting with too strenuous of a workout. I've always heard that you should start very light and work up to a more strenuous routine. That said...6 hours of sleep and I'll tear your head off and sleep in your neck!

hm....maybe its a bit of both not eating enough (i checked how many calories i ate yesterday and I only ate 900!! opps...i guess i was TOO succesful in watching what i ate), and doing too much too soon. I guess im trying to get back to how it was when I was in college, where i worked out an hour or two a few times a week like it was nothing. Ofcourse i havent done that in almost two years now soooo yeah.

I guess ill be paying more attention to those things. THanks a lot for your replies! Oh and Bass, love your user name btw ;)

Definitely pick up your calorie consumption. With only 900 calories your hurting more than helping, and that is the main reason you feel so dead in the morning!
Dont be afraid of food, because it actually turns out that it is your friend!
