Timing

this may sound like a ridiculous question to some, but quite recently I have taken to doing some situps, pushups and those sort of bodyweight excersises before bed. Is that a totally pointless time to do them or do they still work even though im just going to sleep after?

Time of day doesnt really affect the effectiveness of an exercise, but your body clock might.

I dont know any scientific research about it, but as far as Im concerned, doing them before bed is fine.
 
the only downside is that you may not be able to push yourself as much because you may be exhausted from the day
