I actually found this site last year when I made a half hearted attempt to lose weight. It didn't last long. The weight has crept up on me over the years and I did not realize how big I had gotten. 
I grew comfortable looking in the mirror, only I wasn't seeing what everyone else was seeing, until I saw myself in a photo. Then it hit home. Wow... I have got about 50 lbs to lose.
I am 5'1, and I guess large framed. I have weighed 120 lbs before, but at that weight everyone told me that I was sickly and too thin. So, I guess I'd like to weigh about 135ish. That would be ideal for me.
I'm going to start a diary and keep track of everything. I'm very serious this time. I've already been working out for a week, so I'm getting used to this being a regular thing everyday. My husband is working out with me and is pushing me, and that's a good thing.
