throwing up and workouts

After doing my new full body yesterday it really kicked my butt. Since i wasnt used to workout out for this long, i was drinking water during my workout which i dont normally do. By the time i was done, i had finished about half a bottle of water and i started to feel like i was gonna throw up.

Should i not drink water during my workout? Or is this normal?
 
I do not experience this durring my workout ALL THE TIME. Sometimes I do, if I really am kicking my ass, than I feel it. However you NEED to stay hydrated, drinking water durring your workout is essential. Keep doing it..
 
Downing a bunch of water during a workout could make your stomach a bit upset but my guess it that it is from the new workout and possibly your CNS being slightly de-conditioned.
 
LV's right...you simply pushed beyond yoru normal limits and taxed the central nervous system a little too hard.

our bodies are funny. the reason you throw up from drinking booze isn't cuz you irritate the stomach, its due to the body thinking its gonna die from poison (alcohol) so it throws up to both stop the toxin, and prevent more from entering.

over tax the CNS, and you'll get all pukey feeling cuz the body says "Too much, stop now...or else...."

If i dont' get enough sleep fo ra few days, a workout will do this to me.
or if I get too carried away on leg day...same deal.
