Three Things...

PaintedDaisy's diary had a great journal entry today -where she's writing down three things every day and challenged others to do the same thing:

Every day, I write down:
1. One thing I messed up on
2. One thing I did that was great
3. One thing I feel really good about


Since not everyone reads every single diary - i made an excutive decision that it was thread worthy :) so what are your three things... :)

1. One thing I messed up on
I didn't need those 3 guinesses... or the few pieces of fried mac and cheese

2. One thing I did that was great
I walked to and from the bar rather than taking a taxi - and I had fun playing darts.

3. One thing I feel really good about
comparing measurements against where i was almost a year ago

1. One thing I messed up on
eating the piece (big piece) of cake...and making poor choices in food
2. One thing I did that was great
going to the gym for 2.5 hours and having fun while working out
3. One thing I feel really good about
being able to jog for 40 minutes, I've never done that before!

I'm crankier then usual (which says something but I don't know what)

2. One thing I did that was great
I was smack dab in the middle of my caloric range, got all the fiber I wanted and over 100g of protein

3. One thing I feel really good about
that I was able to take those pictures of my clothes and put into perspective the differences that I don't see every day.
 
One thing I messed up on:
Today at my work study my boss had a BIG bag of goodies and I ended up eating 5 of the mini chocolate bar things (milky way, snickers, twix)

One thing I did that was great:
The only beverage that I have drank today is water - 2 bottles down, 2 to go.

One thing I feel really good about:
My grades are doing better than I though. I got an A on a test I was realllllly worried about. Also, Mal inspired me to take my measurements again ( I took a few measurements a month ago) and from those measurements I took a month ago, I have lost 6.5 inches.
 
1. One thing I messed up on I didn't get any exercise in (yesterday either)
2. One thing I did that was great Hmmm...nothing yet.
3. One thing I feel really good about I sucked it up and changed my ticker to the right higher weight. :(
 
I should do this everyday!!

2. One thing I did that was great....I said no to the cheery cobbler and vanilla ice cream!! And yes it was hard:)
3. One thing I feel really good about- I was late for work this morning so that I could read a book to my little kids. I was late but I know it made my kids morning so it made me feel good too!!

time spent with the kids is always a good thing -and that's the things they will remember... :) good on ya
 
One thing I messed up on: eating those 2 mini chocolate bars at my work study
One thing I did that was great: working out for the first time in more than 2 weeks
One thing I feel really good about: finally finishing my essays for a scholarship I am applying to.

i answered the phone when my mother calld and didn't come up swith an excuse to not go back east for easter fast enough...

2. One thing I did that was great
I was in the right place at the right time and was able to listen to a buddy who was having a crisis.

3. One thing I feel really good about
I didn't lose my temper earlier when I could have justified losing it.
 
1. I had one of those tiny cups of ice cream that they give you for your lunch at school and two chocolate chip cookies.
2. The size 26 jeans that I just bought (I'm down from a 28) are getting almost too baggy for me.
3. I found out today that my math grade's gone up!
 
1. One thing I messed up on: Had a Hershey Bar (omg it was good, velvety chocolate!)

2. One thing I did that was great: Had a great meals.

3. One thing I feel really good about: I was walking down the hall and one of my students said 'Hey Mrs. M, you look really skinny' I said 'Thank you! You get an 'A' for the day! and he whispered all excitedly to his friends, 'I got an A, did you hear that!' Kids can be so cute sometimes!
 
One thing i messed up on: my friend took lots of sweets into work, and i had 4 cola bottles and a fruit winder. luckily restricted myself.

One thing i did that was great: did my excercise video once through and almost through again later :) :) :)

One thing i really feel good about: my tan :) (i know it's from the sunbed and sunbeds are bad but i needed to feel good)
 
One thing i messed up on: had a steak sandwich for lunch. Thought i was being good ordering a sanwich, but it was really oily and it came with chips- i was starving though from walking about all day, but it made me really full so i've not ate a lot.

One thing i did that was great: ate bran flakes for breakfast, and never had some toast :)

One thing i really feel good about: my legs :) went shopping for clothes and when i tried on a denim skirt my legs were all toned and tanned. They're still too chunky but they looked quite good :D

2. One thing I did that was great: I rode 11.5 miles on the bike and burned off 304 calories!

3. One thing I feel really good about: The gym teacher keeps mentioning how skinny I am. (It's always nice to hear compliments from cute guys.)
