Hi, first time poster. Im currently trying to lose about 5 stone, from 17, down to about 12, Im 20 years old and about 6 foot.

Ive had some experience in the past of losing weight, and getting fit, so ive made the below CV schedule and diet plan, that I have been going at for about a month, losing 16 pounds.

Breakfast: 2 weetabix with Red Milk

Lunch: Heinz soup 2 days a week, the other 5: Cucumber, Carrot, Lettuce and Chopped apple and Banana.

Dinner: Chicken Breast with corn on the cob, and mixed vegetables.

I have fridays as my day for weighing myself, and have this as a treat night varying from curry to pizza.

In terms of exercise, I go to the gym 3-4 times a week, consisting of 5 minutes of rowing to warm up, followed by an hour of X-Trainer, with a one minute break every ten minutes, followed by 10 minutes on the bike to cool down, and a few resistance machines.

Normally about 2 non gym days a week I do Brazilian Jui Jitsu grappling training for about 40 minutes which is usually pretty tough work.

I was just wondering if ayone has any tips on how I could improve on this, as its going to be a fairly long term project, I want it to be do-able as well as successful.

Welcome!

I'm sure of some of the food you mentioned, the Red Milk and weetabix? But your diet sounds pretty good. Try to incorporate a protein with every meal, even if it's a few slices of turkey or an egg.
Be careful with soups because they do have a lot of salt which may make you hold water. But calorie wise they are great.
I also do boxing, kick boxing, grappling........ it's hard work!!! You might want to think about throwing more resistance training/weight lifting in if you're not doing much but your cardio sounds perfect :)

Good luck, you got this!!!!

Thanks for the reply, but what did you mean by the above?

EDIT:

Is it that your from the US and dont have these items? If so, Red Milk is Skimmed Milk, and weetabix are:
