Thanks for that article - I read it and it's very interesting, but it's too complicated for me, but then even a computer is a challenge......... I have to keep it simple for me - eat healthy and less, and exercise more. And I hope that works for me, because I am crap at calculating.

Well done on making such healthy changes that have seen you make positive changes better than you have been for the past 3-4 years. That is a real achievement. And noone is perfect, so don't beat yourself up. Hey, the old me would have taken the bottle of wine AND a bag of cookies !!! And trust me - every single meal is a conscious struggle for me and a conscious choice. Actually, that's one of the biggest single changes I have made. I actually think about what I am putting in my mouth. Before I didn't care - I'm already fat, I may as well get fatter, who gives a f--k. In fact, it was kind of defeatist too - I am already fat, it's easier to stay fat, and too hard to even think I could ever not be fat. Don't know if you have ever felt that way, but point is, you are doing great, and I hope I can support you in any way I can.

Hey Frankie,

thanks for the post. Been very tough lately. Emotions are freaking whacked out. I know it was my sister's bday, one that passed away, can't focus, the business is really f'iing me up. I have never been this depressed in all my life, never knew what depressed was, well this is it. Have had some bouts of just crying. Really not good.

I really need to get back to the gym, let the endorphins start to kick in. Just feel real alone right now and scared as hell financially. Wish I could just run away. But I can't. Love my kid toooooo much.

Today:

tea
Protein shake
54 oz water

somehow inspired to get to the gym today

i set the alarm for 5:00am and yes it went off and then I turned it off like usual but for some reason this morning I wanted to get there and I did.

made my tea and off we went.

Had for me a great work out. I love doing legs because I never stop working out as I alternate during the rest period an upper body part.

Today Legs, Biceps, Triceps

Lunges

3x10 - handhold 2 - 20lb dumbells
sitting bicep curl w/ elbow into the side of the leg.
3x10 handheld 2 - 17.5lb wts

squats
3x10 50lbs on the bar and I think the bar is 35lbs
feeling those babies now.
bicep free wt curl to the outside. (mayb one day I'll learn the name of the exercises)

Seated Leg Press
3x10 - 2201b
bicep pullup bar curl
3x10 45lbs

overhead tricep pull
3x10 35lbs

straigth tricep pulldown.
3x10 25lbs

sitting machine tricep push
3x10 40lbs

ran 25minutes
first 5 started at 5.6 and worked up to 6.1.
kept increasing.
the last five I pushed to 6.8 for the last 2 minutes.

My legs were definitely feeling it. probably wont be able to walk tomorrow. lol

2 coors light - really hate beer but keeps me safe when out partying. rather have a red zinfandel any day.

1 mini burger, 2 grilled chicken appetizers on a stick

danced fro 30 minutes.

Need to get food together but seriously it's been better than the past couple of years.

oh yeh, drank my water.

going to crash now as I want to get to the gym early again.
