Basically downgraded from fat to chubby. Went from 242 to 175-180. Ladies don't mind it. But I do. I've got a ton of extra skin -- any advice on that?

If anybody remembers me, what's up?

DAMNNNNNN THATS ALL I'M SAYING..LOL... wow I had to take a double look that dont even look like you!!! :)
sorry not sure about the extra skin, but you look GREAT!!!
What did you do??

Thanks.

Cut calories to about 1200-2k (ate light one day, heavy the next); exercised a few days a week (real light stuff, 45 minutes on the treadmill; chest presses), and drank at least 80 oz of water daily.

I'm just praying I can find a way to get rid of this extra skin I've got. It's as if my body will never truly be naked and tone...no matter how much I lift, no matter how much lean muscle mass I will tack on, I'll have man boobs and a droopy stomach forever.

=/ Better than being fat I guess.

You've told us how you've lost the weight, now tell us what you do to keep the ladies off of ya ;)

I hear you on the man boobs and the hanging skin on the belly. My son has it really bad after losing 200 pounds. No matter how much he works out he can't get it to go away. But, like you say - it beats the alternative - being fat! Most clothes hide most of it, and you can save nakedness for someone that will love you no matter what!

Congratulations on a job well done!!!!!! :hurray:

good job man! How tall are you? are you still on a fat loss plan? or have to switched to gaining muscle?

I'm in the same extra skin boat as you, but i started at 300+ so i think im a little worse off.

Looking HOT! Keep up the good work, don't give up, i'm sure by lifting weights, your skin will start to tighten up, just give it some time ; >

But you still looking CALIENTE!

Suzy

You're looking wonderful, great, Fantastic, and smokin'!
Congrats. I know I'll have that skin issue. I've lost a considerable amount. and I think I dont have as much loose skin as most people would have after dropping so much.

We're young, I believe our skin is gonna snap back!
Even if it takes considerable amounts of time. I'll take the skin issue before I'd ever go back to being really big and REALLY out of shape.

I'm so happy for you, Wow. you look totally different, you did such an amazing job.

And I hope that soda is DIET! =P

I think with the loose skin we're just going to have to wait it out! I lost my 70 pounds when i was 15-17 and now its just taking time to slowly get back into form

Congrats!!

wow dude nice work...you look completely different. I'm kind of in the same boat as you during your 'fat phase' but I currently weight at 220 atm but we kinda have the same body type and same height.

Your pic is really motivating for me to continue on working hard. How long did it take you to finally hit that 180 mark? My current goal is to hit 170 atm. But nice job still bet lots of girl hit on you now ;P

You look GREAT!

Be patient with your skin, you are very young it will fall back in place, keep tonning up, don't be so hard on yourself about the saggy skin.

If you like you can rub some olive oil on your skin or even cocoa butter, it won't make it snap back in a day but it is really healthy for your skin and it helps bring back some elasticity and it will help the process out by helping any strech marks almost disappear.

All you can do (without surgery) is keep your skin moisterized and also, I know this may seem weird but in all honesty I've heard for loose skin try to wear some kind of a gurdle when you go to bed, or even like some cloth, tie it around the problem areas tightly but still be able to breathe of course, and this should slowly help too.

A lot of women do this after pregnancy to help the skin attach back to the muscle or fat.

HOpe I helped some.
