Third time's a charm - Tomble's last stand :)

Hello, it's me again!

Back to this site after having been gone for ages (and putting on weight). Well, I'm taking everything I've learned in the last few years and applying it to this effort. I CAN NOT fail this time! Sick of being a yoyo on the scales, so I need to get the weight off!

So far I'm down 5.4kg (12lb) this year. Calorie control and exercise, woo!

I'm healthy, good blood pressure, my resting heart rate's around 60 and I've got good general fitness, but not great aerobic fitness. We're in the middle of a heat wave here, so no jogging for me, but I am walking at night when it's cooler.

I want to be 95kg (209lb) by my birthday in mid june, and so far I'm right on track. I started the year at 120kg (264lb). Ugh.

I have a bag of clothes in my cupboard which are categorised as "Unworn, too tight" and I will be wearing them in months!

Anyway, I've had a good healthy week and tonight is takeaway dinner night! High fat / salt / fried food tastes so good, but it's funny, after all the low fat food I can really taste the grease in it now.

Takeaway dinner night last night, and it was goood! Mind you, I couldn't finish all of what I normally do, stomach must be shrinking. Plus it's been over 40C (104F) all week here, and we're all going a bit crazy, so I haven't really done any exercise all week.

Regardless, I still lost weight during the week thanks to careful eating! Currently 114.6 kg (262lb).
 
Okay, not a bad weekend. Heavier monday than on friday, but this seems to be routine. My weight loss chart has these up and down patterns, and I can see where saturday is because it spikes up!

I've been taking pics every friday, and I can already see quite a bit of difference.

Taking these photos really motivates me, I put the camera in the exact same spot, and I align my feet to certain tiles so that I'm pretty much in the same place. This way when I scroll through the photos I can see the progress happening, and it really keeps me going.
 
All right! 113.6kg (249lb) this morning! This puts me over 25% of the way to my goal! 6.4kg lost so far!
 
Oh, happy day!

Got on the scales this morning - 109.9kg! I broke 110kg! That's 10.1kg lost this year, which is 22.2lb. Sweeeet!

Joined a gym last weekend and went three of five nights during the week. I get a session with a trainer next week and we start working on a plan, I'm looking forward to it! For now, I'm going in, doing some weights and a bit of jogging, and going for a walk later in the evening. Just trying to get into the routine of going to the gym often.
