thigh fat

For nearly a life time ive had bad thigh fat, 16 years and seven months old, I'm 6' 1/8" tall, weighing 125 pounds, with the bmi of 16.9.

I've read the minimum healthy bmi for me would be 16 with the bmi range 16-17.4 only for people like me who are in training or else this bmi range wouldn't be healhty.

What I'm asking is, why do I still have bad thigh fat at this weight?
I bet even if I hit the bmi of 16 the fat still wouldn't be gone. I've converted alot of fat to muscle in the duration of a few months. I use to weight 152 in novemeber, then i decided I want to lose my thigh fat, in Mid Janurary i weighed 140 pounds, by march i was 135 pounds, and now I'm 125 pounds. I notice fat loss in some spots and now I have more toned Abes, but I still have the thigh fat.
I eat about 3500 calories today + a multi vitamine.

sadly the fat drops from where it wants to, really its just genetics. If you are seeing steady progress then keep doing what you are doing, Maybe change up your diet and routine (adding in different leg movements) If you have been working out your legs and they aren't a little sore afterwards maybe this is a good time to add more reps, or something more aggressive. I have found jump squats to just really bring the burn.

By the way my area for some reason is backfat...no idea why just is ha.

Maybe it is me, but you state you are just over 6 feet tall, and weigh 125 pounds, that sounds extremely thin to me. Maybe I am missing something

Thats why I mentioned the BMI range thing. The minimal healthy bmi for me before it's bad is 118.5 pounds.

I might be this thin due to bone structure or something. But yet again I'm not sure and all I know is I have almost no fat on my body besides some tricep fat, which i'm not going to worry about because my friends have about the same amount; the Thigh fat is a different story though, I'm going to try what you guys recommended to see if it helps.

I measure 17 inches around my thigh fat sitting down and 16.5 standing up.
Calves 12 and 12/16 inches
waist 24 inches
tricep 10 and 6/16 inches.
Waist to hip ratio .8
15 inch neck (based from the top of ye collarbone)

I would just like to mention that there is no way that you're overweight. If you have the "HALE DAMAGED" thighs, there are pleanty of ways to just start hitting your legs a little harder. But again, there are all of these "IDEAL" BMI's, and for people that workout, those are unrealistic. I am 6'1 and weight just over 200lbs and I was told I was 18-20 lbs overweight, then they took my BMI and told me something was wrong, that my BF% was too low. So i said, I am overweight, with almost no fat on me?????

If you feel healthy, can jog and workout without complications of your health, your body-fat % is something that you shouldn't have to pay a lot of attention to. UNLESS you have some goal of how you want to look, but I have seen people with 12-15% bodyfat that have HUGE ARMS, decently visible abs, no fat on them, just thick and frickin ripped and for me, that's pretty damn healthy.

But best of luck with your training, I would take the advise other's have given you and try it out, you are your own trainer. Take somethings that seem like they would work and try them out for a month or so, if they don't work, try something else.

Im going for tall slender body look, and so far tis doing well, but my only problem is my thigh fat. I know by killing that fat I would of reached my goal.
I know a girl that 131 pounds who is as tall as me and she has the slender body look to her. I know its possible with men too and I know she weighs alittle more because females weigh more for having different fat levels than men.
