I've been on and off this diet thing since 2007 now. Originally I lost about 15lb.. then I gained that all back.. then I gained another 10... and more recently when I went home for my brother's funeral in feb I gained another 10lbs on top of that.. and here I am. I'm tired of being the yo-yo dieting bandit. I'm tired of failing and gaining more weight. I'm tired of looking in the mirror and not seeing "the real me" looking back.
I just want some normality added into this life of mine. I want to kick depression and weight in the butt and get back to being me. I have another blog.. but after thinking about it for a day, I decided I'll start a journal here too... because there are some things I'd rather not share in my other journal.
...anywhooo.. I've began already focusing on what goes in my mouth (lesser, of course), and trying to be more active. I've also taken it upon myself to break my large goal up into little mini goals, so that I won't feel too overwhelmed when I gaze at it.
minigoals
1. 4/13 to 5/13 -8lb to bring me back to 170
2. 5/13 to 6/13 -7lb to bring me back to 163
3. 6/13 to 7/13 -7lb to bring back to 156
4. 7/13 to 8/13 -7lb to bring me back to 149
5. 8/13 to 9/13 -6lb to bring me back to 143
6. 9/13 to 10/13 -5lb to bring me to my lowest ever of 138
7. 10/13 to 11/13 -5lb to bring me to my *new* lowest ever of 133
8. 11/13 to 12/13 -5lb to bring me to my ultimate goal weight of 128
I'm down 2lbs already.. so I'm thinking that my first minigoal will be relatively easy for me to obtain. I feel so ready for this. so so drastically ready.
