The text is too small and its harder to read and see at a glance what is going on around the forum.

That is what i don't like about the new changes.

Please make the text bigger and more bold. The other changes haven't really chagned anything as far as i can gather. But now that i can hardly read what's going on, i feel less inclined to bother trying to keep up with other threads.

Awhat part of the site are you having problems reading? The threads, posts? If you aren't proficient with photoshop (or other image editing software), could you upload an image and circle what is hard to read?

AI'd like to add my 2 cents on this, although it's a little different. I'm finding that the text and the background just kind of all blend together. I don't think the colors are much different then the old platform, but maybe more muted or something....I can't quite put my finger on it. Nothing stands out to me, so I find my eyes just wandering around..lol. It's just kind of blah. Other than that I'm starting to like it. :)

I agree. I have absolutely no desire to look at various threads because I have to click through each and every category just to see what's going on. The old format was more inviting, because you could see a wide variety of new thread updates on the main forum page. Now, I just feel like I have to search for new thread posts, which is something I don't want to do.

The text is too small though. Well, not so much the text - I don't think that's the biggest issue. I think the biggest issue is that, to me, it seems like the designer(s) of the new forum format tried to cram as much crap as possible into one page. That's the way it looks to me. It's too busy and cluttered now, which is another reason coming to check to the forum isn't something that I really care to do right now.

It blends because everything is a faded, unappealing color. Everything blends together because 90% of the forum is white, which nobody wants to stare at. Instead of having eye-poppping sections that draw your attention, everything looks like one big mess. Everything is supposed to be separated, but the horrible muted color scheme (er, "color" scheme) makes everything look like it belongs together, as if I'm staring at a college essay and not an entertaining forum.

Well it is good that i can read the first line of someone's response on the latest post but as i said, the text is now smaller. I shouldn't have ot take a photograph of that and no i wouldn't know how to go about doing it either. all the text is smaller.

When i open the diary page for example, its harder to read than before. Is that not clear enough. Before i used to be able to see easily a name of the thread owner and so on and so forth. Its all smaller and less easy to read at a glance.

As it is i have to wear reading glasses to read so these sorts of changes really don't help.

I have noticed some improvements but its come at a cost.

speaking of which, where was my thread moved to about the vegetable cooking club. I asked before and on the thread itself, no information was given just that "this thread has been moved".

Fortyfour, I answered about both of the threads you left about the moved topics, letting you know where they had been moved to on the day you posted the questions.

All cooking stuff is now located in http://weight-loss.fitness.com/f/49/cooking-methods-tips

Additionally, if the text seems too small, try changing the screen resolution, or simply use control and your scrollwheel to change it to any size desired.

If you just hold your mouse over the forums.... there is a New Posts option to go to.....

Took me a while to find it!

I've got a mac so i need different tips for changing font size. It will probably change the size of the screen too so that's not really a good solution if that happens. I've seen it happen before.

Thanks for sending them to the webmaster though allcanadian boy. That's the sort of response that makes me :)

Oh sorry San. I didn't go back that day and i haven't found those threads again. I don't hitnk i've seen the cooking methods and tips either but i will have a poke about for it.

Well i found it. I must say it seems to be well hidden now. Suffice to say i think the cooking clubs have been dead and buried. And cooking methods and tips is not a good title. We actually give recipes.

Well i am disappointed. But there it is. I've lost interest now. And i've too much else to do. Shame really.
