Hello everyone!
I just registered today because I am starting my weight loss journey again and no one around me understands. My family and friends are all very thin, me on the other hand....not so much.
I'll start with a little about myself.
My name is Tatyanna but everyone calls me Taty (tah-dee).
I'm 17 years old and recently graduated number 9 in my class of 500 students. I am on my way to The Ohio State University with a full tuition scholarship, and I know no one there or anyone that's going there.
Despite all those good things, I am fat. I'm about 5'5'', and I weigh 203.5 pounds.
Now, 2 years ago I started working out and eating healthy. My starting weight was 235, and I got all the way down to 180. Unfortunately, I was borderline anorexic and a binge eater. And I was that way until September of 2010 when my doctor told me my organs were going to shut down because I wasn't absorbing vitamins or any sort of nutrition. Needless to say, I got my act together, but I overdid it. I blew up to 210 pounds and my self esteem did a nosedive.
My college move in day is September 15, 2011 and I want to be 175-180 again. My ultimate goal is 165, but for short term, 175 is good for me.
I started working out two days ago and realized I needed motivation and thinspiration to get me going harder and avoid being anorexic =)
So...here we go.
Current weight....203.5 pounds
Pants size....a tight 14, loose 15
Goal for College....175-180 pounds
Current date.....July 19th
Move in date....September 15th
Gosh im so excited lol.
Here's what I've done so far. Yesterday I jogged/walked 5 miles on a trail next to my house. It was HOTTER THAN HELL and there were lots of hills.
I did it once at 9 am and again around 6:30 pm so 10 miles all together. I have an iphone so my Nike+GPS app says i burned 1000 calories. Add that to the calories my body usually burns with normal activity and the unnatural amount of sweating that I do at my job, i'd say about 1200 calories burned.
Now, I still barely eat anything and I know I can't lose weight without boosting my metabolism. So today I started. I ate carrot and celery sticks, two times, about 4 hours apart. An egg and whole wheat toast for breakfast and a turkey sandwich from Panera Bread (only 210 calories!). I also had 15 Quaker Quakes (mini rice cakes, only 110 calories per serving, which was 15). My body was really sore from yesterday so today I did two reps of 30 weights (I lifted them, about 15 pounds...yeah i'm weak lol) and I did 50 crunches. I plan to do 50 more before bed.
So far so good.
I know I NEED to eat more, but i'm so scared of binging...but then I get scared of becoming aneroxic and it leaves me confused all day. I played basketball from 4th-9th grade so don't be concerned about the amount of running I did the first day, I was tired and I definitely feel the burn but I made sure to stay hydrated and not kill myself.
I know I wrote a lot, thanks for reading. Please, respond with your own stories/comments/pics/thinspirations etc. I'm willing to listen and I can't wait to tell you all about my daily activity.
