Introduction (you never know, someone might read this):


My name is Chiyo and I am 23 years old. I joined this site a while ago but kept putting off actually utilizing it. But you know what? The weight isn't going to magically disappear that way. So here I am.

Right now I weigh 185 pounds in a short 5'0 body. I used to be well over 200 pounds but I still have a long way to go.


Eating plan:


1200 calories, plain and simple.


Obviously, I'll be focusing on healthy eating instead of 1200 calories of fast food and chips.


Goal weight: 100 pounds

Hey Chiyo,

Welcome to the forum! You'll find some really encouraging posts here! Congratulations on the weight loss so far and your willingness to share your journey with the rest of us. Most all of us are just like you!

The good news is, you are starting when you are young..it's hard no matter when, but I can say it's harder when you get older! (I'm 51, 5'7 and weigh 207 lbs now...down from 269...and on my way to 150...been on this journey since 1 June 2011)

The good thing about this site is that you can say what you think here...good, bad, ugly and it's been my experience that people give you honest feedback...some positive, some negative..but in all cases, you don't have to feel embarrassed or ashamed...we're all on a journey...some of us have farther to go than others!
