Hey Everyone!

I wanted to introduce myself to the forum. First and foremost ill admit it right now i've been eyeballing this forum for probably a few months and really thought it was great how everyone was motivating each other and exchanging idea's. This helps the trial and error process of what works and what doesnt. About me... My name is Steve, i'm 6'3 and right now I'm at 244.8 pounds. The most I've ever been in my life. My goal is to get down to at least 195 (I'd even settle for 200) This is day two of my own program i'm doing.

My program goes like this

1000-1200 calories a day
Walk 2.5 miles each day
I'm taking Alli or Orilstat for those who oversea

Where this will get me and how fast it will get me where i wanna be. I have no idea, but i'm going to stay on course for 12 weeks and see where I'm at!

Why now?

Well I work for a large corporation and their doing "The Biggest Loser" at work. Where everyone who joins gets to weigh and pay 10 dollars. That 10 dollars will go to the prize money of who loses the most percentage at the end of 12 weeks. I figured this was perfect for me considering I used to be very fit in highschool and in college I let it get away from me. Any questions feel free to message me!

PS. My picture is attached that makes me look the biggest. Some pictures don't do the justice, but i really want the transformation to look great! and also No the girl is just a friend lol.

Welcome to the forum.

1000-1200 calories seem like a very low number to be eating. I know you want to loss as much as possible but, if you eat too little your body stores fat instead of burning it. I'm not a expert but, I believe 1500-1700 is a better number for you.

Hey Steve!

I have to say I agree with Bubbleiscious, 1000-1200 seems a bit low. Basically you need to make sure that your body doesnt go into "starvation mode". If you eat too few calories your body panics and stores what you do eat as fat rather than burning it up.

Also, advice the guy at the gym gave me was to use speed intervals whenever you work out because it helps to burn the most calories...dunno if you've tried that. But I think it works for me!

Good Luck
