Alwyn Cosgrove, Chad Waterbury, Charles Staley and Bill Hartman are just a few of the speakers who will share their expertise over the course of this two day event.

This event literally would not be the same without Lou. He is the Rock Star of Fitness!


He started writing about health, exercise, and nutrition at Men's Fitness magazine in 1992, and hasn't stopped. He moved on to Men's Health magazine from 1998 to 2004, and has been a freelance writer since then, with articles appearing in T-nation, Men's Journal, Fit Pregnancy, and many other magazines and websites. He also blogs most days of the week at louschuler.com.
His relationship with JP Fitness goes back to the old days at the fitness forum at menshealth.com. JP was a moderator on the board Lou and Adam Campbell started, and now Lou is a moderator on JP's board.
Lou lives in Allentown, Pennsylvania, with his wife and three children. Currently, he's putting the finishing touches on his next book, a guide to strength training and nutrition for women, which he's writing with coauthors Alwyn Cosgrove and Cassandra Forsythe.
Lou Schuler is a National Magazine Award-winning journalist, certified strength and conditioning specialist, and author of four popular books about diet and strength training:

A regular presenter at this event, Bill never fails to blow everyone's collective minds. His third appearance will be all about shoulder stability, injury diagnosis, and rehab. Bill's bio is impressive, but to those who have actually seen him, they know that it only scratches the surface.
Bill Hartman (CSCS, ART) earned degrees in Movement, Sports Science, and Physical Therapy. Considered one of the top experts in kinesiology in the country, Bill is a Level II ART practitioner. Like Alwyn, he is a regular contributor to popular fitness magazines like Men's Fitness and his athletic experience includes years as a competitive bodybuilder. Bill is known in and sought after by the fitness community for his uncanny ability to accurately diagnose and prescribe corrective action for the nagging injuries that often plague fitness enthusiasts. In industry circles, we trainers refer to him as the smartest man in fitness. If Bill don't know it, you probably don't need to know it!

Robert dos Remedios, MA, CSCS is a former Junior College All-American and All-PAC 10 athlete who brings over 18 years of sport-specific conditioning experience to College of the Canyons. Coach "Dos" holds a Masters degree in Kinesiology and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength & Conditioning Association.
Coach Dos is a sought after National level speaker and presenter on topics such as Program Design, Olympic Lifting Implementation, Medicine Ball Training, Plyometrics, and Speed, Agility, and Quickness Training. Coach Dos also teaches workshop classes to coaches and trainers in the UCLA Extension Fitness Certification Program. Coach Dos also organizes several continuing education events each year for personal trainers, strength coaches, physical therapists and athletic trainers, bringing in some of the biggest names in strength and conditioning today!
Coach Dos was a finalist for the prestigious NSCA Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Professional of the Year award in 2003, 2004, and 2005 before finally winning this prestigious award this year. He is the first Community College coach to ever win this award.

Charles calls himself a "geek" who struggled in Phys Ed throughout school. Whatever you call him, Charles' methods are ahead of their time and quickly produce serious results. For those who have used his famous method of training, Escalating Density Training, you know his methods to be both amazingly ingenious in their simplicity, and downright sadistic in a wonderful way. Returning to the JP Fitness Summit, Chad is one of the most sought-after writers and speakers in the country, and he just released the much-anticipated book, Muscle Revolution. Chad Waterbury is a physiologist who specializes in human performance enhancement and body transformation. He has a M.S. in Physiology from the University of Arizona, along with undergraduate studies in Human Biology and Exercise Science. Chad has extensively studied and researched the neurophysiology of human performance and motor control. His training experience and academic research beget novel (read Revolutionary) training techniques for individuals at all levels of the fitness spectrum.​

One of the top biomechanics experts in the world, Zig Ziegler is going to conduct a 3D functional movement screen and review the breakdown of the biomechanics of various sports motions. Zig is currently the Host and Executive Producer of the Motion DNA TV show, Fitness from the Ground Up, broadcast nationwide weekly beginning on March 31 on Fox Sports Network.
After recently teaming up with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Zig currently acts as a consultant to the NSCA's new Biomechanics Lab featuring Motion DNA software developed by Zig to help identify physical limitations in the way people move, leading to ways to prevent injuries and improve physical performances of everyday people and athletes. Dave Schmitz PT, LAT, CSCS, PES

In 1986 Dave obtained his BS in Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Certification from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Upon graduation Dave has spent a majority of his career challenging himself physically and mentally to understand how the body “really” functions. In 1995, Dave became a CSCS and completed his Performance Enhancement Specialist Certification. In 1997, Dave created PERFORMAX – Performance Training LLC () to bridge the gap between rehab and performance. It was also at this time that Dave discovered how a simple 41 inch continuous rubber band made individuals quickly begin to move with greater efficiency and power.

Currently, Dave travels throughout the Midwest and Nationally, speaking and sharing with young high school athletes, coaches, trainers and physical therapist, how to use a simple 41 inch rubber band to become FAST – F.I.T. & FLEXIBLE.
