The Best Way to get a Six-Pack in a Month

Hey,

I have a 500 dollar bet with a friend, he says its impossible for a 15 year old kid, at 5 foot 7 and 135 pounds to get a cut, hard six pack in a month. If someone could, give me a full in depth guide on what needs to be done. I already know diet and running is real important, but they me how some of you guys got yours. Thanks alot.

How much?!! You may as well give him the $500 today and save yourself the trouble.

I sure wish I'd had that kind of money to throw around at 15!! Seriously though, I have no idea where you are at right now but, due to your friends confidence in making the bet, I'm guessing you don't currently have a 6 pack, or even visible abs? Altering the composition of your body takes months (even years) of an extremely clean diet, intense cardio and a comprehensive strength training programme.

If I were you, I'd fake an illness and back out of the bet. Once you ahve removed that ridiculous pressure, if you still want to get in shape - use the search facility and look up "cutting" and "weight loss" and start reading.

There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going I'm afraid.

Best of luck

oh, well my friends dad is a wealthy businessman, so he gets what he wants, when he wants it. It isn't fare. But, I have heard w/ extreme conditioning like running and situps, swings, etc, that it is simple to just a noticeable visible abdominal wall to come out, thus exposing a six-pack. And one guys said that in average shape, it can be done in 2-4 weeks.

If I were you my friend, I would have done a little more research before betting $500!! I assume that you have to pay him that amount if you fail.

The only way to reveal your abs is to cut bodyfat. Males typically begin to show a 6-pack at somewhere around 9 - 10% bodyfat.
The guy who said a 6 pack can be achieved in 2-4 weeks from being 'average' is a liar, plain and simple.

Here's the kicker...genetics play a role in how much your abs can grow and 'pop out'.

You'll need to do ab exercises like crunches, leg raises, side raises and reverse crunches 2-3 times per week, but more importantly, shed excess body fat to get down below 10%.

even then, if genetics are against you, you may not develop a washboard stomach. I hope you have $500 to give em.

i agree

cuttin bf % is the key ingredient

&

achieving 6 pack in 2-4 weeks , and "average" is just ludikrous hah

And I was hesitating to bet 5$ on the Czech Republic beating the USA... it's a way of learning my friend, but a costly one.
I wish you luck however.

cutting down can be a solution, but the time period you have is tooo short and might put you on bed, so be careful.....

I actually think its achievable if he has 11-15% body fat. He only weighs 135 pounds so if he has 15% body fat then thats 20.25 pounds of fat. If he loses 2 pounds of fat a week for 4 weeks then that will be 9% body fat.

135 X .15 = 20.25 pounds of fat
- 8 pounds of fat (2 per week)
= 12.25/ 135
= 9 percent body fat
