And so it begins, my first journal entry. I hope I am doing this in the right spot. Today I weigh 210 pounds. It is much better than the 225 pounds I weighed when I started on my recent adventures in the land of weight loss. At my highest I was up to 247 pounds. Now that I am done having children, I have really run out of excuses to not take care of myself.

I have been eating better and have been drinking lots of water. I have also enrolled in school and have told myself that I have to take care of myself as well as my family.

My goals for this week are to loose a few more pounds and make sure I am exercising at least 3 times this week. Putting the yard back together after Hurricane Ike is helping with the exercise. I forgot about some of the muscles I have in my arms after trying to saw thru the trees.

So here I go on my journey, it will be a fun ride and I can't wait to see how it all ends up. Thanks for stopping by to read along with me.
