"You're" is an abbreviation. It stands in for "you are". E.g. "You won't get big if you're working out 7 days a week".
The two words are pronounced the same, but are different and a spelt differently.
Why does this bother me? It just does. It's just that on this site I nearly always see "your" when it should be "you're".
Anyway, according to the subtitle of this section this is the place for gripes and complaints, so here's mine.
