I've re-written this about three times now and still im at a lack of words to show my appreciation for this site, not only is it a helpful resource but its also a great motivation keep if nothing else. I hope this just inspires some more people that want to lose weight that it can be done, i thought id be fat the rest of my life but i was wrong, and i found out that listing to myself got me alot further in life.
In total it took me about 6 months, i don't know how it happened so quick, i suppose i just didn't stray off the path.
Some words of advice that i would give to people from this experience -
- Weight yourself in the morning at the same time.
- Switch to drinking water or seltzer, everything else is empty calories or filled with chemicals.
- Lots of protein so you don't get hungry, and make sure you determine what you calorie needs are.
- Set a realistic goal, however i dont mean just go for 15 pounds, figure out your healthy BMI and get to it !
- Exercise, i know how bad it can be getting motivated but it always ends up giving me energy when im done, atleast try it, whats the harm ?
I started at 5ft 10in and 283 pounds. 46 waist and 3XL shirts.
and am now 6ft, 165 pounds. 32 waist and size Medium shirts.
~@ Lost a total of 118 pounds not including the 9 pounds for the 2 inches of growth. @~ SUM TOTAL = 127 pounds lost.
I've attached a before and after picture for your feedback
~~ in the picture the 6 looks like its and 8 its 165 pounds and 283 pounds.
