Tell Me This???

Is this a good way to lose weight... and gain muscle???


Typical day....

wuke up at 9:00-10:00

make eggs with bread and a cup of tea...

launch 12:00

orange juice/apple or w/e with fries, chicken or one of those chinese soups... they are like 20 cents

mid afternoon at 3:00-4:00

more juice with grilled cheese....


6:00-7:00 dinner

potatos with chicken veal or w/e my mom makes :D

9:00-10:00 before bed fruits water with oranges and banaas


Bed time at 12:00


so tell me what I'm missing.... and what to change be helpful to me i really want to lose weight and gain muscle please.... thanks no flaming



by the way im 14 years old and im 170 pounds and 6 feet tall
 
this would really work for me in the other thread i posted the guy posted stuff that i hate.... will this be fine with also alot of exceise basketball and weight lifting....
 
To lose weight and gain muscle at the same time is difficult. Not impossible,but difficult. The reason being that has to do with hormone balance. However, if you're eating relatively healthy (and I use the term relatively very loosely, here. If I told you what I eat every day, you'd probably be disgusted) and getting regular exercise, there's nothing to worry about. Just try to pay attention to how many calories you're taking in.

There's a formula for weight loss, it's a magical secret, actually, but today, for free, I will share it with you:

If calories in < calories out, weight loss will occur. Yep. That easy. If you're having trouble losing weight, try to cut down on the calories in your diet. There are a number of special "shock" diets that can help,too. If you're interested, reply and I'll explain one I particularly enjoy (it's not a fad diet, any healthy diet takes discipline). Try to count calories for a few days, write down everything you eat and figure it out. Figuring out how many you expend is difficult,but just guestimate. Depending on your size and gender, (I presume you're male?), it varies. Just try steadily decreasing your caloric intake, and specifically decreasing your fat intake, and observe the results. That should do it once you get the hang of it. It's not rocket science.

If you're thinking: "Yeah,that doesn't help at all.", well I have news for you, I went from 280 lbs at 5'10" to 170, with a 5% body fat percentage [and its usually lower,im in a bulking phase] using that simple method). Oh, and if you want to experience significant muscle hypertrophy (enlargening of the muscles), you'll need to do muscular strength/power exercises. If you just want to look cut,you only need toning,and basketball is great for that.

Like im not fat but chubby I want to gain muscle like other people


I weihgt about 170pounds at about 5'11 with is ok. But i dont have a flat stomach and my hips or w/e are wide lol.


I was thinking of buying 2 12 pound weights i can buy them should i ???

Ok, please explain me a diet so i can lose weight while i do crunches and sit ups and play ball to gain muscle and also lift weight

i dont want like brown rice i still haveto eat.... grilled chese eggs chicken veal potaos ... or w/e please email me back i want to keep in tauch with u becasue by next summer I want to be able to take off my shirt without worrying.... so please sstay in tauch it wil be good if u have msn or somtin but email is just fine so what should i eat
