Teen Looking to Get FIT! =]

I no my height, weight, and age are all good and stuff but I’m still pretty chubby, you no....

So I started this workout.

Sat: Chest, Biceps
Sun: Legs
Mon: Abs
Tues: Triceps, Back
Wed: Rest
Thurs: Rest
Friday: Shoulders, Forearms

Also everyday, I burn about 400 calories through cardio. I do stationary Bike, Tradmill-RUN and incline walking. However on wed and thurs I don’t do any exercise does are like my strictly rest days.

My workout sessions usually last about 2-3 hours. I always do cardio after I do weight training.

I’ve done this routine about one week now, currently doing my second.

I'm also eating a LOT. I'm consuming a little over 170 grams of protein every day.

But, id say I consume about 2500-3000 calories a day..... I don't drink sodas, I drink about 10-15, 8 ounce glasses of cold water every day. I also stay away from snacks like chips and junk like that. My meals consist of usually meat (beef, chicken ect), veggies, fruits.

My main question is am I eating too many calories?
How long will it take for me to see some noticeable results?


Also another question I have is. On my sets when I'm weight training I'm doing 4 sets,
first set - 15 reps
second set - 15 reps
third set - 12 reps
fourth set - 10 reps

I usually do lighter weight so that I can actually complete my sets.

But I usually do about 4 machines/free weight exercises per muscle group. and like Ill do the 4 set thing on most of them but like on one exercise ill do 3 sets , 8-10 reps each set but I put the weight higher so that even 8 reps is very difficult.


Anyway any tips or suggestions would be very helpful.
