After losing and gaining the same 5 pounds for the last year I am done. I am ready to be healthier and feel good about myself. I am an endurance athlete (marathon swimmer) and former Olympic and sprint triathlete. I used to work out hours upon hours each day and have somewhat cut back to reasonable. But food is my problem. Overeating. Mostly healthy stuff but portion control is so out of whack. And stress eating at work has become a new very bad habit! I go for the cheese its and not the free fruit! However I'm done. I participate in athletic events and I'm now concerned about my health. I NEVER thought health would be a reason I don't do a particular race. And lately I'm afraid what my doctor will say when I mention my next one. I love to eat healthy. I love to cook. I love being in control. So I am ready. I follow WW and went back to a meeting yesterday. I want this more than I don't want it. My challenge for today is staying within my points. I went shopping and have everything in my arsenal to make it happen. For me. I LOVE veggies. Love them. And now they are going to be a part of my arsenal again. Look out veggies here I come! Tracking, planning and winning. Oh, maybe I didn't mention I'm a little competitive too. Hope you all have a winning and confident day. I'm 80 pounds away from my goal. Ready? Set? Go!
