I just discovered these Dole Fruit Bars today, I guess they're new. I bought the strawberry ones. I wanted something healthy to satisfy my sweet tooth but also to satisfy my grandchildren's craving for something sweet and desert like. They are made with real fruit, low calorie, and has a lot of vitamin C, too. Just wanted to hear everyone's opinion on these.

I suppose they are a little better than a popsicle but not exactly health food. According to the ingredients list, the first ingredient is water. They have added sugar. They have less than a gram of fiber, and 10 % of the daily value of vitamin C, and that's with ascorbic acid added, so it doesn't seem to me they have very much actual fruit in them.

What i bought are not the "Fruit 'n Juice" bars in the picture where you got that nutritional information, They are just "Dole Fruit Bars". I think these popsicles (Fruit Bars) were just released (or re-released) recently, so that nutrition information you found is irrelevant. Looking at the box in front of me, they only have 90 calories, 40% vitamin C and 2% iron. Just trying to help the discussion.

I love it. Actually it satisfies me greatly my anger. Whenever i got anger i used to have sweet Tooth. Also they are used on great extend for weddings or parties. I like it.

It looks like they changed the name and added a little more vitamin C. They still don't have any fiber and about the same amount of sugar, proportionally to the size. In this ad, they don't list the ingredients.
