I just did a very successful programme of exercise and diet. Lost about 20 lbs and 5 inches on my waist. The key to my diet was to keep off Sugars/ sweets completely, because they add so much calories so easily...Just one sweetmeat and all your gain [loss] from the diet for the day has gone out of the window.
Lately I have been cheating. My resolve and will has started to thin after so many months and I have started to eat sweets after the evening meal. I try to do extra exercise the next morning, but there is only so much time and I cannot afford to spend any more time on exercise. The craving starts in the evenings only...all day long I am able to stay away as my mind is occupied with work. In the evenings, I am relaxed and since I love sweets, I tend to connect, feeling comfortable with eating sweets.
Thinking of not buying sweets at all...so no chocolates, icecream, pastries, etc at home...but that is not being fair to my family, just because I am losing my resolve.
