supplement for lean mass?

I know it's not the best to take supplements, but is their anything to help build lean mass? I want to gain as little fat as possible. (Obviously) I'm strict on my diet and i react terrible to creatine, it blows me up...Anything to take to help recovery of muscles, or does anyone have a specific protein that's good for your post workout shake?

Protein is what u want.

There a about a bazillion brands out there and each has different number of calories, carbs, and fats ect. To try and gain lean mass try to get a protein that is low in fats and relatively low in carbs but packs a good amount of protein per scoop(21g and up)

Optimun Nutrition is a pretty good producer of clean, lean proteins. Stay away from Muscle Milk b/c they are very high in fat.
