Super set?

what is that?? sounds dumb i guess...but Ive spoken to like 3CPT...and they gave me different ANSWERS :|

A superset is where you will perform one set of a particular exercise, and after completion of the set you will go on to do a set for a different exercise.

e.g.

You might do 10 reps on the Bench Press, then after that do 10 reps of Rows. Then repeat untill all sets are done.

ahhh i got it.....one trainer was saying the count is held longer in each rep.... :| eg:doing a bench press slowly bring it up and holding the count for 3sec as ur going upward...

but got it! i thought thats what it ment!!

I could guess that many PT's have no real clue about training.

He's just referring to altering rep timing by the sounds of it. If i were you, do your own research and ALWAYS question what bullsh1t people try telling you. I bet half of the sh1t you get told in the gym is barely worth taking note of anyway.
