I have been cutting since late August and the fat has been coming off slowly but surely.
On 8-24-07 I was at 10.4% body fat with 16 pounds of fat weight.
My last check was 10-15-07. I was at 9.2% body fat with 13.6 pounds of fat weight.
The tests are showing that I have been holding onto my lean body mass, which is great.
I get my body fat tested every two weeks, and I usually lose .5 pounds of fat over that time period... which has been .2%-.3%
I am glad that I am making progress, but i'd like to speed it up a bit if I can.
I am 148-152 pounds right now and have been eating 1900-2000 calories per day.
I do full body workouts on MWF and HIIT after that, one hour total workout.
Also I try to get some cardio in on my off days. Just light jogging for 20-30 minutes.
A calorie calculator shows that I should get 2300 calories if I say I am lightly active. (exercise 3 times a week)
My diet has been very healthy.. but I am not sure if it is proportioned correctly. I am sure to get protein at every meal and usually veggies or fruit as well. I don't think I am getting enough fats, but I will make another topic about that.
My goal is to get down to 6% body fat by thanksgiving, I think I am going to have to postpone that date however.
So any feedback, comments, suggestions?
