Substitue for reverse cruches??

Hi...what are some good substitute excercises for reverse crunch or ones that have the same effect or target. Back problems won't allow reverses..

Reverse crunches are the real only way to hit the 'lower' abdominals... since you have back pain on that kind of movement, I would recommend doing more 'core' work for at least a good 4-6 weeks... then try the lower abdominals again.... (and by the way, you can't spot reduce fat, so if you are trying to get rid of the fat there, it's not going to work)

Thanks for replies.. I cannot really lift that high from the floor for the proper effectiveness, I think. Could just do them, slowly (can't go fast or moderate pace)..and do the best lift off I can while focusing on the lower abs/abs squeeze. If thats not a good idea then for now it looks as if I'll be out on the bench went it come to the reverse crunches.

Just focus on the reverse crunches on not letting your back curve when your legs go away from your shoulders... keep the back flat when you go back to the starting point...
