Stretching

Everyones always saying how important stretching is to increase flexibility and prevent injury so i thought it would be a good idea if someone with some experience could post a stretching routine, which includes different types of stretches and how long they should be held for etc, that can be performed every day and will be helpful for any athlete.

I also think that it would be beneficial to other readers if this thread is made into a sticky.
 
Seconded, I always want to do some stretches, but know really know many.
Hasn't given me problems yet, but it's just a matter of time I'm sure....
 
Static stretching is NOT recommended pre-workout. Dynamic stretching is where it's at.

Thanks for the replies but thats a super long contents page and its not very easy to interperate because of the amount of information. Thats what i found anyway:eek:
