I am sorry I double posted. I didn't know how to get people to reply to my old thread. Anyways, this is what I have decided to do for my stretches. Please comment on my choices. I think I did something wrong. I hope someone tells me that is way too many stretches. ROLF. XD

PS. I have read what it says on Tricks Tutorials.com. I was wondering if I should do isometric stretching? I haven't been active much in the past few years nor am I in a good shape. I am not that bad but I'm not sure if I should try it. I really want to but don't want to injure myself.

I'm not a huge fan of stretching, to tell you the truth, so all of this seems like overkill.

Personally I'd just stretch to the point that I needed to, like if you need to touch the floor with your palms, then work to there.

As well, I hate stretching. I just want to be prepared for MA and I want to be flexible to be able to do my old tricks. I had a good feeling that was too much. After reading a lot about stretching, I still do not know how to make a proper stretching routine. Would anyone wanna help me out?

Too many static stretches....

You should incorporate dynamic (ballistic) stretches that prepares your body for movement.

FYI: Also, if yuo don't feel a "nagging, discomfort" feeling when you are stretching a muscle, that means you don't need it stretched.

Are you kidding me? Well, I didn't know that, thanks. I do do dynamic stretches. I do the one in Matt Fury's video. Any suggestions of which stretches I should take out?

Sorry about that. You have to go to that website to see what stretch is what. I don't know the real names of the stretches.

My new stretching routine. Please comment. You will have to go to this site: and scroll down to see what the stretches are

ballistic stretches are not good and it decreases flexibility. I read something about that you cannot force a muscle to do something it is not ready to do.

its true, if you are lucky it will not do anything for you, if youre unlucky you will get injured never ever do ballistic stretches they are counter productive
