hey everyone

i was hoping to get some help!

i am a college student that will be on winter break soon and was hoping to get some exercise advice. I dont have a gym membership and really dont think its economical to get one for the one month that i will be at home. I love doing cardio and plan on running four miles everyday but was looking for some strength exercises i could do at home for the next month.

all advice is appreciated!

Here are just a few bodyweight ones you could try with very little equipment that can be found at home or the local kiddies playground.

Squat (standard, wide(sumo), single leg)
Pushups (there are several varients)
Crunches
Planks
Lunges
Tricep Dips
chin ups
hanging leg lifts
wall sits
Hamstring raises
calf raises
Plyometric exercises (burpees etc.)

there are plenty more but the above list is a start but the strength gain will depend on your starting level and some will become inefective with time without adding exra weight.

Have you ever done resistance training before? What are your goals? Stats?

im just starting major strength training, i used to do whatever before
I work out upper mid and lower parts with 5 set of 10 reps
im working on losing fat, right now my goal is 30 lbs by the end of march, but im more set on building muscle because I had stopped for about eight months and im working on starting again

Trusylver has pretty much covered everything. I've added two links to very good videos that will give you some ideas as to how to go about putting it all together.
