Hey Guys
Just wanted to post a quickie and ask if anyone knows a good way besides sit-ups and or crunches to lose the belly fat? I had a baby almost 8 months ago and I know that is not an excuse but I am at a dead end here with this.. I seem to be losing weight everywhere else but my stomach is the same..
Any ideas? Thanks .

Yes I think you are right on it about the crunches, it is truly my only option if I wanna tighten up this pregnancy fat.. I sometimes do crunches when I am lying in bed at night watching tv before I sleep and a quick 50 crunches helps a little.. Thanks again

I dont see why we would need to see pictures.

Anyway, anything that stretches and works your core would help your stomach. It doesn't have to be crunches.. there are various exercises in yoga that work that area... so doing yoga may be a good idea.

I had my baby in April of '05 and am still working on trying to get it off also. Here's a thought: Are you confusing belly fat with loose skin? It can take some time for the elasticsity in your skin to come back, seeing that it was stretched out a lot. Besides crunches and situps (which work, but get dull quite quickly) try a torso twist.(Billy Blanks) You just get into a stance keeping your feet planted on the floor and while not moving your legs, twist at your waist with your fists at chest level, clenched. You want to twist as far as you can on both sides. PLEASE NOTE: YOU WANT TO WARM UP FIRST SO YOU WON'T PULL ANYTHING!!!!! Good Luck!
