Well I decided it was time to start losing weight about a month and a half ago, the results have been great so far! I am not frequently weighing myself but I would assume I've lost at least 20 lbs at this point as I bought a pair of 16's I had to lay on the floor to button and I can now wear them comfortably!! Feels great.
Anyhoo, I am still not making the best choices.. I am tracking everything I put in my mouth with fitday and staying around 1200-1300 calories, of course most of those are carbs ;o Guess I am just wondering what my % of fat, protein and carbs should be?
Hoping I get better with the nutrition.. the biggest thing for me has always been SUGAR. I am such a sugar addict that just switching to diet drinks and water from soda and juice has cut my calories by an embarrassing amount. I am a constant drinker and sugar was killing me! I have no idea how I ever allowed myself to DRINK so many calories. I say that and today I blew 500 calories on a small milkshake but once in a while I have let myself drink some sugar haha..again poor choices for my calorie allowance but it's been so hard to quit candy and sugar =(
iggy:
Just noticed this is kind of a rambly post but I definitely need some advice on how to pack the most nutrition into my calories, my deficits are very bad I've noticed. Would also love to know which supplements or vitamins I should look into to help those. Clueless in that area as well!
