Day 1 of my new regime started today, and boy was it depressing! Hence, I have come here, to meet like minded people.

I used to weigh 11 stone 13, and after a summer of cycling, good nutrition and hard work, I dropped that to 10 stone 9. This morning, after being back at college for two months or so, I weighed in at 12 stone, I was shocked.

I'm a keen cyclist, recently completing 70 to 100 mile rides for charity, but they do not seem to shift the weight, it is the every day cycling, grinding away that causes the weight loss, which makes sense.

I also go to the gym, but I haven't had transport for the two months I have been back at college, so this has been increasingly hard.

I got back on my bike, in the rain, and to my despair, my average speed had dropped somewhat since I last rode, around 2 weeks ago.. This further encouraged me to make more lifestyle changes, and shape up for my cycling holiday, booked for July 2011.

By then, I plan to be 10 stone, through a variety of exercise and good nutrition, as I did this summer.

Is there anything anyone would like to add, in order to help me achieve my goal, such as tips from their own plan, or similar.
